The Quality Management System of LAROMET S.A. company, has been approved by two independent audit companies.Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance and TUV CERT , issued certificates for LAROMET S.A., in accordance with the Quality Management System Standard: ISO 9001-2000.

The Quality Management System is applicable for the production and selling of rods, bars, tubes, wires and shapes of Copper and Copper-Alloys.

QUALITY CONTROL

The Quality Control Department includes Inspection-Control Compartment, Quality Management Compartment, Metrological Laboratory and Testing and Quality Control Compartment.
Our laboratory is equipped to perform all test required by the common international standards.
Quality Certificates are issued according to EN 10204, type 3.1.B.
Declarations of conformity according to EN 1655- type C are available upon request.

Chemical composition:

Spectral Analysis system is used to control and test chemical composition of supplied raw materials, the alloys while all melting and casting process, during all elaboration flux to the finished product.

Physical, mechanical and technological properties:

All tests required by international standards: tensile strength, elongation, hardness, flattening, expansion, bending, yield strength (only upon request).

Geometry:

Calipers, micrometers and other measure and control apparatus, calibrated and verified according to updated standards and regulation rules, are used to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Microstructure:

We verify with our metallographical equipment the grain size of the billets as well as Brass condenser tubes after annealing.

Internal tension:

We use the Mercurous Nitrate test process to verify internal stresses in the drawn products.

Non-Destructive testing:

We test tubes under internal hydrostatic pressure up to 50 Bars.
